On September 14th, during TravelMart LatinAmerica, Ecoventura and Oro Verde Hotels held a celebration at Hotel del Parque in Guayaquil, Ecuador where we hosted a cocktail party with invited guests and made a BIG announcement – the name of our second luxury yacht.
Ecoventura’s President, Santiago Dunn, informed the crowd of 250 guests “We are constantly striving to do things bigger and better than we have in the past while still remaining true to our fundamental practices of being an eco-friendly, fully sustainable Galapagos cruise company dedicated to conservation.”
In 2017, Ecoventura brought you the MV ORIGIN, the pinnacle of luxury cruising in the Galapagos Islands…Never one to rest on our laurels, coming in 2019, we’re proud to bring you Origin’s sister yacht, the MV Theory.

Since not all of Ecoventura’s extended family could be present, we decided to write this post and bring that same exciting news to all of you!
The MV Theory is our brand new, state of the art luxury cruise vessel that is already under construction at the shipyard in Guayaquil. Theory will operate in Galapagos as the sister yacht to the MV ORIGIN – two of the finest ships where you can experience all that the Galapagos has to offer.
